Second trip: Dick took these pictures on Sunday Feb 15 snow shoeing in for a second time due to a bad connection on the receiver pre-amp board.  Beautiful pictures Dick.

Even though this appears to be out of date I decided to leave it in because it gives an idea of how primitive conditions can be at the site.

Below are the pictures taken by Dick N7ZH Technical Director after he snow shoed into the site to replace a defective power amplifier board.  Date 2/8/2004

Our shack is on stilts 4 ft off the ground.

The battery box is under the shack.

Tracks lead to shack with our tower in back.

ALL BROKE

siteoverview.jpg

A heavy ice storm deposited so much weight onto the tower it just folded up. Needless to say a big repair job needed to be done to get the repeater back up and operating.

Date: April 14, 1985 Maurice Rogers KA7EJS by the shack.
Note: The Shack sits on stilts and the snow is up to the door, about five ft of snow on the ground.
